World Floorball Championships

Men´s World Championships every even year

WFC Final Round with 16 teams
- 1 team (organiser) directly qualified
- 15 teams from qualifications

WFC Qualifications, played regionally
- WFCQ for Europe
- WFCQ for Asia and Oceania
- WFCQ for Americas

Women´s World Championships every odd year

WFC Final Round with 16 teams
- 5 teams directly qualified according to final placings at previous WFC*
- 11 teams from qualifications*
*The qualification system will change after WFC 2013 to be the same as the men.

System for adult Floorball World Championships since 2010

The WFC "new style" was implemented in 2010 (men) and 2011 (women) and consists of continental qualification tournaments and a final tournament with 16 teams. The WFC´s since 2010 have been played with 16 teams in four groups.
