Athletes Commission to look into the rules proposals — 14.03.2012

The IFF Rules group for the Edition 2014 of the IFF Rules of the Game  - Martin Wolmhed (Chairman), Libor Gavlas (CZE), Ari Vehniäinen (FIN), Greger Sandell (SWE) and Philippe Renz (SUI) – met in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, to hold its first meeting the past weekend, 9-11.03.2012.

The group divided the almost 90 proposals into different categories and also prepared a first version of the 2014 edition with the changes needed according to the rules group.

In the next phase, which already is ongoing, the members of the Athletes Commission are asked to send in their opinions both on the proposal of the rules group as well as the proposals sent in should there be any proposal they would think should be considered for the 2014 edition. After the replies from the members of the Athletes Commission the rules group will ask for test Associations for those rules proposals where testing is considered needed (dead-line to apply as test Association is 18.04.2012).
