Katri Luomaniemi transfers to Floorball Riders — 11.07.2012

The Swiss team Floorball Riders Dürnten-Bubikon-Rüti have signed contract with the Finnish national team player Katri Luomaniemi, the Polish national team player Natalia Legowska in addition to other international players for next season. 

The 27-year old Luomaniemi (in photo) returnd to the FB Riders from Classic Tampere. She played a successful season in 2008/2009 for the Riders and during that year the Riders reached play-off qualifications Luomaniemi scoring a lot of points.

Luomaniemi has played over 30 international matches in the Finnish national team. Last year she collected the 10th most points in the Finnish league with a total of 13 goals and 24 assists. 
 
Tanja Frölich is another player returning to FB Riders from playing for Westend Indians in Finland last season. The young striker Mariette Hägglund, a teammate of Tanja Frölich, completes the Finnish group at the Riders.

As further offensive power, the 21 year old Polish national team player, Natalia Legowska (in photo) from the Polish champion, Energa Olimpia Osowa Gdansk, will join the team. With 13 goals and 31 assists she was the number two scorer in Poland last season and has played more than 30 internationals. In the WFC 2011 she played her first World Championships.
